Thanks!
Hi Pam,
Thanks for writing to me. I am looking for support groups in Santa Fe and
Albuquerque. I have really searched to no avail. I was surprised you found one
in Albuquerque.
How long have you had Hep C? How are you doing with it? Are you doing
alternative or western treatment? I would really like to attend a support
meeting and there used to be one here where i live but....it is now defunct.
It is just now after a year ago of being diagnosed that i am starting to think
about doing something to help myself. Hope you will write again.

:-) What area of new Mexico are you
looking for?? these were found at www.hepatitisneighborhood.com but there
are other ways to search for groups if you give me the name of the town or
city :-) Hope you find someone close to you......... it HELPS to have
people that are also going through this to talk to up close and personal
:-) Take care!!

now i don't know whether to call you becca, grace or earth LOL anyway,
it is nice to meet you and i am going to assume it is becca :-) i have had
hep c for probably more than 30 years......... have cirrhosis........but
doing pretty good ;-) i had to stop combo treatment at week 17 as i was
allergic to interferon and now i watch my diet and do alot of vits and herbs
and try to exercise a little and keep a positive attitude......... if you
are just starting out *researching* for your hep becca i might suggest that
you go back to some of the very first messages and you should find links to
alot of great websites that will help you learn *everything you wanted to
know about hep c but were afraid to ask* :-) meanwhile, if you have any
questions, just toss them on out....... someone on the list will be able to
help you out..........i go to a local support group meeting once a month and
find that it really HELPS to talk to people face to face that are going
through the same thing.......alot to be said for support groups concerning
any problem in life :-) anyway, take care and stay well!! :-)
Peace and Love,
Pam
